I went to get my first set of acrylic nails a few weeks ago and was not a fan of the experience. The man who did my nails was not very professional. I felt as though my service was very rushed. I sat down to get my nails done and was thrown the colour samples and was not given a chance to choose a colour before he grabbed my hand to start on my nails. I rushed and picked something while trying to one handed look at the colours. Additionally he rushed the rest of the service and did not even stay to see the end of my service. I was told, when the lights go out, you are done and to go up front to pay. I was given no chance to look and let him know if I was happy with the result. I was not, the tips were very thick and approximately 1/3 thicker than my moms, who got hers done by another technician at the same time. One positive is that I know I do want to get my nails done again, just not at this establishment.
They clipped my boyfriends heel with the callus shaver and we had to make a scene before they even told us anything happened and he was bleeding. Honestly probably ruined pedicures for the whole group for life, so scary..
